2012 Open Days These open days are aimed at those new to sailing and looking to learn the skills need to handle a small sailing boat confidently - Come along and see the club, try a short sail in one of our training boats with an instructor or experienced sailor, watch boats racing and talk to our Instructors about your experience and requirements. (Don’t forget to bring a towel and change of clothes)

9th June 11.00 am to 4.00pm RYA Go for Gold and and have a go day – This also co-incides with the end of our spring training course so see how well other new sailors have done

The Spring Series Races commenced on Saturday 3 March.

Racing at Shustoke Sailing Club Sailing takes place every Saturday, Sunday and Thursday afternoon throughout the year and on Thursday evenings in the summer. Races are run for all levels of ability, from beginners to World Champions (we have one in the club!) on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursday evenings. As you would expect there is a strong social scene.

Successful Shustoke Sailors

Several Shustoke sailors have been successful in recent Open events.

Congratulations go to Stuart and Nick Hydon for retaining their Lark Inlands title at Grafham Water. Full story on link below.

Hydons take 2012 Noble Marine Lark Inlands

Also successful here were Kevin Rose and Ryan Padro who took second place in the Bronze Fleet.

In February Stuart and Nick also won the Draycote Dash

In March Stuart Bush was 3rd in Solo Spring Championships at Oxford Sailing Club
