Dinghy Racing

Shustoke Sailing Club holds competitive racing throughout the year. With Gold, Silver, Bronze and Novice fleets there is something for everyone whatever your level. We welcome boats with a PY between 980 and 1650 inclusive.

Pursuit and handicap races are held on both Saturdays and Sundays, with around 20 boats participating regularly. There is a large and competitive Solo fleet with many of our members successfully competing at open events around the country. There are also popular Laser, Phantom and a growing Comet fleets.

Thursday evening handicap racing takes place through the summer months, April to August: a great way to relax after work!

We have a club championship with an overall result taken from a number of trophy races through the year.

Club racing takes place every weekend of the year on both Saturday and Sunday. Below are dates of specific events in our calendar that fall outside of the regular club series.
