Sad News - Patrick Manley

Hello Everyone,
Some of you will already have heard the news but I am sorry to have to advise that one of our long-standing members, Patrick Manley, has sadly passed away at the age of 88 years.
Patrick got involved in the Club and was a member from the time the Club first opened. He sailed a Mirror dinghy for many years and did a lot of rescue duties as a coxswain, especially for our Open Meetings. He was a great friend of the Club and a kindly neighbour, living at Priory Farm on Bixhill Lane, just next door to us. Pat used to especially enjoy the social functions that the Club put on!
We offer Pat's wife, Margaret, our sincere condolences at this difficult time.
For those members who would like to attend and pay their respects, Patrick's funeral will be held TOMORROW, 13th August, at 10.45am at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium.
