2022 AGM

The 47th Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 18th March 2022. This year, it is hoped that Covid-19 restrictions will be eased sufficiently to allow the meeting to be held in the club house commencing at 7.30 pm prompt. Please address any correspondence to the Sailing Club by e-mail to the Commodore or the Secretary via e-mail to: enquiries@shustokesailingclub.co.uk (or you can simply reply to this e-mail).

There are a number of vacancies for Club posts for the next term of office at the AGM, namely: * Rear Commodore Sailing (sailing matters)

• Rear Commodore House (social arrangements)
• Club Secretary
• Site Maintenance Manager
  In addition, we need help in organising the training and Open Days for this year and keeping up with correspondence with new and potential trainees due to the Training Principal having to step back temporarily due to health issues.

Nominations for Club committee posts should be added to the nomination sheet on or before 15th March 2022. This will be posted on the members’ portal. See further notices about that shortly.

Important: Nominations must be proposed and seconded by members who are eligible to vote at the AGM and the nominee must declare on the member’s portal their willingness to stand for the post.

If you wish to include an item on the Agenda for discussion at the meeting, advise the undersigned by e-mail by 18th February 2022 at the latest.
